What's the difference between a mobile app and a mobile-friendly website?
A mobile-friendly website is a website that adapts to a phone screen — someone opens it in a browser, and it works, but it's still a website. A mobile app is downloaded and installed, and gets access to things a browser can't reliably offer: push notifications, offline use, the camera, GPS, and a place on the home screen.
